wall street, to be included!

If you plan on visiting the great city of New York, you might want to include Wall Street in your trip. Not only because it the most important stock exchange throughout the world but also because it has been through many historical crisis as well.
At the beginning
Originally, Wall Street was actually a wall built by the Dutch to protect themselves from the imminent Native American tribes’ attacks. Then, when the English made the Dutch capitulate, Wall Street was destroyed.
Wall Street’s stock exchange
Since 1792, the New York stock exchange has been one of the most important in the entire world. Furthermore, in honor of the use Wall Street had at the base, the stock exchange has been built on the site where the wall was.
The great crisis
As everyone knows, a stock exchange is the site of many crisis some more destructive than less. The great depression of 1929 has surely been the worst the world has ever face in all of its history. For ten years, people were living in the streets without any hope of survival. Fortunately for them, an event occurred to stop the crisis: World War 2.

Me

Before telling where or in what conditions I was born, I will start with my name. I am Daniel Dubreuil. I was born on September the 30th 1994, the second in a family of three. My brother Laurent is now in CEGEP and is 17 years old. My younger sister Anna-Belle, is in secondary 2 and she is 13 years old. She is currently attending to the Juvénat as Laurent had been doing for the last two years. My parents, Robert and Ariane, are respectively 42 and 44 years of age.

Beyond my family, I am a speed skater. It has been 11 years since I started and I am not even close to stop. When I was about four years old, my parents, who were themselves former Olympians in speed skating, thought me how to skate and I gradually entered a speed skating club. Presently, I am skating in competitions of provicial level and, sometimes, also in national level. That is why, twice in the year, I am going to leave for one week in destination of Salt Lake City and Saskatoon.

I did not begin the secondary level at the Juvénat as all my classmates did because in the city where I live, Saint-Étienne, one of the schools offers two years of secondary level. So, instead of coming here the first year, I came the third one but I had no lapses because I was part of an English program that made us pass three years faster. That is to say that I made my first three years of English in secondary 1 and the two next years twelve months after.

Even though I came later here, it does not mean I have no friends. In the guys I like to be with, Charles, Shannon, William, Jonathan, Louis, Michael, Xavier and François are part of them. We like everything that is true: chips, kayak and prisons. Seriously, I thing we like to hang out in the mini games room (ping-pong, mississipi). Also we like to joke and I consider myself like a big joker who never misses one.

So, perhaps that you were able to know me a little better or perhaps not. However, I dislike the Jonas Brothers.
