wall street, to be included!

If you plan on visiting the great city of New York, you might want to include Wall Street in your trip. Not only because it the most important stock exchange throughout the world but also because it has been through many historical crisis as well.
At the beginning
Originally, Wall Street was actually a wall built by the Dutch to protect themselves from the imminent Native American tribes’ attacks. Then, when the English made the Dutch capitulate, Wall Street was destroyed.
Wall Street’s stock exchange
Since 1792, the New York stock exchange has been one of the most important in the entire world. Furthermore, in honor of the use Wall Street had at the base, the stock exchange has been built on the site where the wall was.
The great crisis
As everyone knows, a stock exchange is the site of many crisis some more destructive than less. The great depression of 1929 has surely been the worst the world has ever face in all of its history. For ten years, people were living in the streets without any hope of survival. Fortunately for them, an event occurred to stop the crisis: World War 2.
